William Blackie

Hi, I'm William. I'm a Full-stack Engineer based in London and Bristol, UK.

My path has been agency delivery, then freelance and contract work, and now full-time product engineering. It taught me how to ship quickly without cutting corners and how to keep projects calm when timelines are not.

I build with Python (Django, FastAPI, Wagtail) and TypeScript (React, Next.js), and I care about accessible products, clear architecture, and releases that do not need a prayer circle.

I currently work at Mabyduck. I also run Developerfy for selected side projects, because I am genuinely bad at not building things.
